    (For internatinal students who apply for Peace and Conflict Studies Course,
    admission fee is 10,000 JP Yen.)
  • Entrance Fee         282,000 JP Yen  (paid in the 1st year only)

(4) Courses

1.  Master’s Program in Global Studies

Language and Culture Studies: The course focuses on developing specialized knowledge and expertise in a number of languages and culture. The aim is to develop future human resources who have a holistic and advanced linguistic and cultural knowledge.

International and Area Studies: The course aims at developing human resources who have specialized knowledge and expertise, coordinating skills, and resilience toward conflict and are capable of delivering results in today’s global, multicultural society.

Peace and Conflict Studies (PCS): PCS is designed with a vision of forming an overarching global network between the universities located in the conflict zones. Through this network the course hopes to be able to promote reconciliation, peace building and to educate on conflict prevention. PCS aims to develop future leaders with a capacity to deliver results on a global stage and to contribute toward reconciliation. The course is delivered in English.

2. Master’s Program in Japan Studies

Japan Studies: In this course we aim at developing human resources who have an objective view of Japan and who are capable of seeing Japanese language, Japanese language teaching as well as Japanese culture and Japanese society within a broader context of global community.

Recurrent Course of Japanese Education: In addition to the regular 2-year course in Japanese Language Teaching studies, TUFS plans to run a 1-year course that targets practitioners with a minimum of three years of Japanese teaching experience.
